Indira’s Projects

At IndiraSkin we believe that the desire for products to nurture our bodies should co-exist with the necessity to protect the very nature we rely on. That is why our approach to developing products and doing business begins with procuring plants and botanicals from independent growers from around the world. In keeping with our mission, we return a portion of our proceeds back to these growers by supporting organizations that help to create economic sustainability in these communities. By utilizing independent growers (and not large multinational corporations) we help sustain and improve local economies, protect the environment, and preserve the cultures of indigenous peoples throughout the globe. By intertwining a cause with the creation of a product line, we’ve established what we call "Projects." Each project begins with the goal of supporting an organization whose mission is to protect and preserve the environment, fight poverty, create economic opportunities, or to otherwise better the lives of peoples worldwide. In keeping with this mission, Indira’s Projects include:

SHEA Face and Body
An amazing line of products made with pure African Shea Butter. Our shea products use the finest shea butter that literally melts into your skin leaving it nourished and moisturized like never before. We’ve added the finest botanicals and vitamin-enriched ingredients especially designed to help mature, dry, and sensitive skin look younger and more radiant.
10% from the sale of SHEA products go to African charities dedicated to AIDS prevention and economic development throughout Africa.

Latte Spa™
Indira’s unique blend of ingredients result in an exquisite treat for your skin. Made with natural caffeine (coffee and guarana oil), green tea extract, and other botanicals, these products help protect skin from sun damage, reduce the appearance of cellulite and help fade age spots. They also help firm and smooth your skin leaving your skin silky smooth and soft. The coffee is sourced from Higher Grounds Trading Company, a fair-trade importer of coffees from Mexico and South and Central Americas.
10% from the sale of these products will be donated to the Mexican Water Project to build potable water systems in Chiapas, Mexico.

Cheriskin™
A unique skincare line of products with natural ingredients that support our mission of farmland preservation. Indira’s cherry products are made with cherry concentrate derived from Montmorency cherries, a powerful antioxidant with anti-aging features.
10% from the sale of these products is donated to nature conservancies in northern Michigan to preserve and protect the environment from overuse.
